Product Description Shoulder Dolly Light Duty gives you a hand in moving the heavy stuff... and reduces back, arm and hand strain. You're looking at a 2-person harness, webbing and buckle system designed by a professional mover to ease the burden of lifting heavy and bulky objects! Shoulder Dolly lets 2 movers lift in an upright position instead of bending over, so they use shoulder and leg muscles instead of their backs, hands, biceps and forearms. Both movers slip into their harnesses, adjust webbing for differences in their heights and the weight of the object, place webbing under the object, and lift. Movin' on up: Recommended weight capacity up to 400 lbs. Encourages safe lifting techniques and reduces injury risk; Eliminates damage caused by hand trucks and traditional dollies... no more marring walls, floors, doors and furniture; Increases efficiency; Superior to systems that utilize stronger muscles to bear weight; Excellent for going up and down staircases. Weighs 4 lbs. Make moving easier and safer! Say, "Hello, Dolly!" and order today! Shoulder Dolly Light Duty

Worth every penny! July 22, 2010 Christopher Prevete (Flanders, NJ United States) I was looking at purchasing the Forearm Forklifts when I saw these listed at the bottom of the page. I have to say I am so happy I checked them out. They really are worth every penny. It made moving a whole lot easier than I expected it to be.
Like other reviewers have said before, these do not make you stronger. You will not be able to lift things you normally would not be able to lift, but they make lifting them easier. The weight of the object is transferred to your torso which leaves your hands free to guide and maneuver the item through the area in which you are going. You don't realize how much of a benefit this is until you are lifting an extremely heavy sofa that happens to be very plush. It now makes it much easier to get it through that door opening.
I do have one complaint and it is the reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The shoulder harnesses should have some actual padding on them. When the item you are moving is rather heavy, the straps have a tendancy to dig into your neck. It makes it rather uncomfortable to work with, but no too uncomfortable to make you stop using them. A little padding would definitely do the trick.
Didn't think it could be done July 18, 2010 Bart M. Carrig (New York) We had to move a very heavy 500 lb FreeRunner, an eliptical running machine to another location and up a tall staircase to the second floor. Without the stabilizing bar it was tall and narrow and about 500 lbs, We knew we could not get it up the stairs without some device. So we ordered the Shoulder Dolly. With two strong men on each side, and two more to stabilize it on the sides; albeit one stair at a time, we were able to do it. I was VERY impressed.

Useful but not as easy as the ad says July 6, 2010 Bruno Soares This product is good and works well. But like some said, it does not make you stronger. I got this hoping my wife would be able to help me lift some heavy objects but even though the position is better, she isn't any stronger so she was not able to lift heavy objects even with this Shoulder Dolly. The not so heavy ones though were a breeze to move and seemed lighter as our bodies carried the weight instead of our arms. Nice to have but don't expect miracles.
Must be very tall July 5, 2010 Ron I was planning on using this product to move a few heavy things. We first tried using it on a very heavy treadmill. I'm about 5'11 and the harness hung so low that I could not reach the bottom of the treadmill to stabilize it. The other person is a few inches shorter so we didn't have a chance. I would consider this a huge design flaw.
What a help ! June 24, 2010 Spacey Lady (Southeast Ohio) This lifting system is a great help when moving any heavy and or bulky items. It can be a little awkward on stairs, but still a big help with the refrigerator and the washer and dryer.
With a little practice, it would probably be very easy . . . or maybe I should read the directions ; )
